Then Sings My Soul 2

Here I come again, my favorite time for the weekend meme. This is my second post and am excited to post again, lol! As what I had shared last time I love music, the way it is. It’s been a part of me. When I was starting to train the choir in our church, my hubby was there and he also learned to love it and be a part of the church choir. I was also given a chance to train different churches in our place, in the schools (for high students) they just sung once a month, so it’s not so hectic for me. Other churches only for special occassions.

I love it. I enjoyed doing it although it’s quite tiring sometimes because I was teaching the whole day in one of the schools in Bacolod, Phil. but when I started to train the choir, I’m excited and i felt strengthened. As what the saying goes, “Singing gives strength to our soul and refreshed us”. It’s really true to me. I became alive and enthusiastic with energy after working the whole day and started practicing the songs in the evening. Wow, it really amazed me.

Here’s another song that I like:

O Lord my God when I in awesome wonder,

Consider all the works thy hands have made

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,

Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to thee

How Great thou art, how great thou art

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to thee

How great thou art, how great thou art

I love hymns ever since. For me, it’s great and powerful.

  1. Hi I’m joining TSMSS for the first time. Guess what, I found it from your site 🙂 Thanks.

How Great Thou Art is a classic. It’s always a joy to listen to it.
    Happy Saturday.

  2. It’s only now in my old age (-; that I deeply appreciate the profound words in those old hymns. Thank you for sharing and for dropping by.

It seems I encounter Philipinos wherever I go! Do you know Lidia from Crown of Beauty? She is also from Bacolod. And here in Toronto, Canada, most of the people im my church small group are from Manila.
Do take care and have a great week.
    Blessings,
    Sita
