My Outlets

I love to create designs. It makes me feel good. When we were in the Phil. few years back. I was teaching in a government school. I was already in a higher position as a teacher. But our lives changed when we obeyed the Lord and go to a place we never thought of. During those times, while I was teaching, I learned cross-stitch. I could still remember that three of us, me with my other co-teachers will go to a place, we called it a center where you could find a lot of things for sewing, cross stitching, or anything that you want to create, or designs to make.

We were excited to go out after our class hours and visit that place. Then we start making our own design of cross stitch. It was fun and we find ourselves soaked to it, lol! That was one of our outlets. I enjoyed making designs especially if it looks great.

When we came to Thailand, as what I have said, everything was changed. Our children’s schooling (they are now doing homeschool most of the time), our work, (although we are still teachers -with my sweetie) but we have a different goal and our life’s purpose was changed. We are more focused on what God wants us to do.

But I’m glad that I have discovered another outlet. I have learned to make bracelets, earrings, rings and necklaces. I find it hard at first, but now, I can honestly say, I did it well! Before, I spent more hours to finish one bracelet. But now, I just take it easy, and I’m enjoying every step of the way. God has given me this talent to be used not only to augment our family needs but also to help those who are in need. And besides, I already gave to some of our friends as a gift or a token. I love and enjoy giving to our friends.
