A Thought for the Day

A smile is a language everybody understands
It costs nothing but it creates much
It happens fast but its memory lasts
So keep smiling, stay calm and be blessed…

Isn’t it nice to find someone who will turn your heartaches into smile
someone who will rebuild your world better than before
Someone who is worth loving
Someone who stays forever like or Almighty God…
Do you believe HIM? Trust Him now, He is waiting for you to call Him. Isa. 41:10

Love is spelled…T.I.M.E.

Time is our most precious asset.  Not one of us know how much of it we have left, or what will be God’s plan for the rest of our lives.

But one thing for sure, we know God is in control.  We must think about priorities of what we have to do from God’s perspective not ours.  Our family needs our love and commitment.  sometimes though, in the hustles and bustles of our lives – we have forgotten what is important.

We need to understand that we must not exchange the things that are important to the pursuit of what is trivial.  We overlooked something essential to having a happy family – time spent with them.  It is not about giving them the most expensive gifts, gadgets or by satisfying their wants.

It is more about spending time with them, taking the efforts to be involved with their interests and doing things together.  Our children will one day, have their own choices and be independent from us.  So in their growing up, let’s make sure that we have not forgotten them.  A time spend with them is something they will always cherish and treasure.  Beautiful memories were etched forever when we invest our most precious asset.

To me it is not about the question of quality or quantity.  What matter is – we all take the efforts to be with our loved ones.  Let us remember, love is spelled T.I.M.E.

Reminiscing the Past

When I was a child, my parents used to go to the beach near our place. That’s why I love beaches. We usually enjoy the cool, fresh breeze and wanted to swim in a blue, cold beach. There’s a feeling of coolness when we stepped on the water, it’s so cold, sometimes the water is green. We could see the fish swimming.

There were times that my nanay (that’s how we call our mom)or tatay (our dad) would lie down in the sand and we would cover them with the sand. Just imagine, only their face were not covered. Because old ones believed that the sand of the sea were helpful and boost their health. So we always did that everytime we went to the beach.

That’s one of my memories that is still fresh to my mind until now. We really had a lot of fun, sometimes we played in the water. After playing, we were very hungry, we ran to Nanay and ask something to eat. Often times, we ate “ibos” the delicacy of our place with our injan mango fruit, fresh from our tree planted by Tatay.

It’s nice to remember and reminish the past, it’s memorable and a blessing!

My Hubby’s Enjoyable Recreation

Camping is one of the memorable events for my hubby. He really loves it. He loves to be with a group or with a friend or a family. He could even go alone if nobody is not available. Hubby is a person who loves nature and enjoyed seeing the beauty of it. One time they went for camping with the group and they need a car to carry all of them, so they looked for camping to carry them all. They went up the hill and they enjoyed their camping. It looks so cute and cool and cozy inside according to hubby. They had lots of fun and fellowship with some friends and family members. It was a great help for hubby and the group to have this camping need, it’s convenient and cool.

Hubby loves any part of it. He can lead, can work well in a group, can manage well and can be trusted. He can even make the group enjoy with some games and things to do while doing the camping. Most of the campers would tell us that they enjoyed and had fun. Camping is such a memorable thing to do for my hubby and his brothers too. They tried to do it as many as they can because they feel that it can give them time to refresh and to be revived again. They even wanted to be free from work or stress of life. How about you? Do you like camping too? I have learned to love it too since my hubby enjoyed doing it. Since hubby is coming back soon, we desire to have our family camping this coming December. It would be fun especially for the kids.
