“An Impossible Dream Becomes a Reality..”

Marcelito Pomoy was the grand winner of the season 2 – Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT). He displayed a very unique presentation of “My prayer,” where he sing both the female and the male parts superbly.

He came from a very humble beginning, and could be said that he reached his dreams – where the impossible became possible. He had hitched his dreams upon a star and he had taken grasp of it. One of his desires is to look for his lost family, which he had never seen for a long time. So through the PGT he got the opportunity to meet his own biological parents (he was adopted by a policeman).

Marcelito’s story is so inspiring and encouraging that lots of Filipinos really chose his talent over the “Happy Feet,” (two brothers who had the most amazing skills of displaying a tap dance). I am also glad that this man received the grand prize winner, I know his example will greatly encourage other Filipinos never to give up, nor lose faith. For as long as one perseveres and has the character to face the challenges that life can bring – one is a sure winner!
