An Assistance for Disabled

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Older people and the disabled find it hard to go anywhere. They need assistance just like my father. They are dependent to all and need help at all times. They need something to boast their ego and be assured that they can still do something amidst their situation. And there's an answer to that need which existed since 1989, it is known as NMEDA, an association that promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled and older people. They are non-profit and their members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. safe driving and equipment for disabled people. They are non-profit and their members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Another thing is that NMEDA dealers are the ones who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications for disabled people. Another interesting thing is that NMEDA is an Association of Mobility Dealers, Manufacturers and Rehabilitation Professionals that advocates providing safe, reliable vehicles and modifications to enhance accessibility for all people.

They believe in the saying that "No two people with a disability are exactly the same". Each one has it's own need depending on their disability and for older ones, each one differs from each other in every aspect. And they encourage people to beware of adapted wheelchair vehicles sold over the Internet or through catalogs. After a personalized “in-person” evaluation, you can be sure you are getting the right driving solution customized to your specific lifestyle and needs. If you need additional training or product refinements, your NMEDA dealer is there to help you. Isn't it interesting?

Aside from the ones I mentioned, NMEDA has dealers that help you understand more about their product. They are just around the corner ready to help you. If you are going to check their website, you will find out more interesting products that you would really love and won't allow yourselves to pass without looking at it and purchase it as fast as you can, because their products are really designed for your need. All you need to do is to visit their website and after going to the homepage hit the dealers location and type your zip code and it will lead you to the dealers near you. It is designed for your convenience.

They even have the Quality Assurance Program known as QAP which is the only recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. They based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality. They have quality products and that's what their company is all about. Try to check it now and see for yourself.

Proud to be Pinoy

"Proud to be Pinoy" is the motto that I have seen anywhere in Bacolod City and other places around the country. I could not help but take a picture of this beautiful and attractive scene while roaming around SM Mall the other day.

I went with my sisters and we met another person at SM Mall when I saw this scene. I love and proud to be Pinoy. It's different to feel being Pinoy and an unforgettable look seeing these names with the national colors. Interesting, right? Filipinos are indeed well-rounded and gifted people. Need I say more?

My First Gift

Our youngest sister came back home last Wednesday. She was working abroad and we were all happy seeing her in the airport. Of course, one thing that each one's desire was the "pasalubong" (it's something for each one that our sis brought) and we're all enjoying while receiving those gifts. One of my gifts was this dress that I'm using...

I wore it yesterday and I did ask AJ to take a picture in order to have a remembrance and would be shown and be placed here in my blog. How do I look? Lol!!!

News about Eye Problem

Last month I wrote about USAEyes which I believe had been helpful to those who have eye problem like me. The USAEyes advocacy organization that publishes the 50 Tough Questions For Your Lasik Doctor and conducts a national Lasik results survey has been prominently cited in an in-depth US News & World Report article about laser eye surgery, this is great, right? USAEyes maintains an interactive Internet bulletin board where Lasik patients can post questions and received researched answers both before surgery and after. You can check at USAEyes.org and see for yourself. I guess, this is very helpful with regards to those who have eye problem.

The Children I Missed

Look at them... they are the children in the village, they wanted to learn and speak English. They are eager to learn and these children need guidance and more learning opportunities. I missed teaching these kids. Anyway, I will be coming back and will be with them again after few years. Maybe the kids would be young people by then.
