Free Blog Makeover is what I had been longing for

For a newbie like me, this sounds great. Today, when I visited a friend's blog Genebei I saw this Lady Java site. When I saw the deadline, I didn't give time to think twice because the next day, on the 26th is my birthday. And March is my favorite month too. Joining contest is fun and you will win prizes at stake. Thanks for Lady Java, our birthday falls on the same month and I love this month of March so I decided to join. Free Makeover for my blog is amazing. Hope I will win, lol! Not too serious - whatever is given I will receive it wholeheartedly. If you want to join this Blog Makeover Giveaway, just visit this site Lady Java The rule is made simple by the writer herself. 1. Tell her about her birthdate 2. Answer this: How many years she had been married? 3. Put that information in a blog entry and also tell her why do you want and deserve this blog makeover. 4. Link to her entry in your blog entry and leave her the url of your post. The last day of this contest falls on 25th of March. The significance of this date is that she just celebrated her birthday last March 9, and will be celebrating her 9th year Wedding Anniversary on the 25th of this month too. That's why she made this Free Blog Makeover giveaway! Blessings to you Lady Java. May you enjoy your life's journey with blessings from on high. By the way, the winner will be notified on April 1. This contest is only open for bloggers hosted by Blogger dot com. Lady Java creations are great too. Check it out! LadyJava Creations

Thankful Thursday # 3

I am always thankful to my Faithful Saviour and Master. He has been there all the way for us as a family and my family back home. He has been our dwelling place and the source of everything. Thank you Lord for being there always. I would like to share some of the things He has done this week. 1. For our visa extension - it's first time for us to apply here in Hatyai - last Thursday I had already thank God for it. However, the immigration officer gave us hard times. Many papers were being asked especially for my family - they had asked all the papers to be translated to Thai. Within me, there was crying moments between me and the Lord. It's not so easy to translate it within just a couple of days. And besides, nobody would like to accept it with a limited time to translate. However, God has His own way and He makes no mistakes! My thought was different from His! And that's my God and thank Him for that! We went back last Monday to the immigiration office and they approved although they saw some corrections in the translation. It's good I had brought with me the original copy. But we still need to be back after our passport renewal this summer but everything was okay. Thank you for all the prayers! 2. For the renewed strength He has given us - we had our English Camp last week until this week and last Monday, the team went to another province to teach English in the afternoon after our English Camp in the morning. The same persons involved in this activity. Everybody were in a hurry but Praise God for protection and strength. 3. For this month is a month of birthdays in my family circle: my brother-in-law just celebrated his birthday yesterday, my cousin will celebrate her birthday on the 26th, the same with mine, my niece Dawna Gaylle who was miraculously healed by Leukemia last Oct. 2008 will also be celebrating her 14th birthday on the 24th. You will be blessed indeed if you will read the whole story here. Thank you so much for this Thankful Thursday site myspace graphic comments

How to Make a Badge Button for Blog?

For a couple of months I was wondering on how to make a badge where friends could easily connect with me. I checked many sites before but I don't know how? Then few weeks ago I saw a new badge from friend. I was longing to have one too but because of my limited time, it takes time for me to make a new one. Once in a while I have to check from my friend's blog at His-Her Story who also a newbie like me. I tried a lot of times before but I failed. So I stop trying and wait for the right time for me to make one and besides my schedule won't allow me. Weeks past, then I tried clicking again and found out this badge. I was so excited to have my own badge with the help of my friend's site then I've found this Zakkalife which is helpful and easy without knowing anything about HTML. I've found this site through my friend Genebei. Friends are really a treasure. And it's nice to have one! Thank you for the help. Then I also found this site at Comment Box Colors. Where you can select the button of your choice and do a little of editing. You really find it enjoyable and resourceful. I'm so excited to post my badge. This is the original badge, I chose this because my favorite color is green. It looks like this.

Yummy Sunday # 4

We started our English Camp this week so I don't have enough time to blog. But I'm still awaiting this time to share because it's Sunday. This week I had asked my Thai friend to make my favorite Thai food "Ratna" and I saw how she made it. I will try to write the recipe next time. I will show you how she made it. Quite easy and interesting. The Sauce Thai food are very delicious because of their tasty sauce. I will try to make a recipe next time and you can try it.
