Photo Flashback Friday

Friday Photo Flashback
Today I have a different post of Photoflashback Friday. The two ladies were my cousins with their Mom and the child. They send this picture few months ago when we chatted. They were now working in Canada with their families. They seldom visit Phil. because they have also their work to do. I was glad to know that they knew the Lord in Canada. We had been praying for them ever since when were small children. It's so hard for us to share to them because of their belief. But I was so happy that they were active serving the Lord in Canada with some other Filipino brethren. Their mother is still keeping some things that keeps of her belief but gradually the Lord is changing her heart. More Than Words with Alicia has more to share. Try to join. It's fun to recall our memories through photos.

Review : Make or Break

I have known Pehpot of Make or Break few months ago in Mommy Moments. I didn't know her that much in person but her blog speaks about her. As I was reading her posts - I was amazed how faithful she was as a friend, a blogger and a person of concern. She is willing to help promote others blog and help others in need. Recently, she was given an award "THE PHILIPPINE BLOG AWARDS 2009 - FOR FAMILY AND LIVING". Just imagine having this award! This is great and she deserves it. She has a consistent interview with some of the bloggers in the blogging industry. She always had a guest blogger to be interviewed "In A Day In My Blog". I guess, many bloggers already enjoyed this and were given a chance to be connected with others and to express themselves. Pehpot is also joining people's health blogger awards and I voted for her because she deserves it. She writes healthy and encouraging words. She's a person with a willing heart. A blogger who cares. Blessings to you Mommy Pehpot for your coming baby.

Security Consultants

Security Consultants? Who are they? When my hubby was still single, he used to work in a security agency because he had a military training when he was still young. He trained security guards and even some of the policemen and armies in our place. He also became a security consultant during that time. He was connected with other agencies and did a lot of firearms training. He met a lot of people and was connected to many consultants not only in the Phil. but other countries. More than a decade ago we found this firearms training in Los Angeles, California. My hubby has still the love for it. When he heard anything about this he would easily listen and it will get his attention. There is one of a kind program that will keep you challenged and motivated. It's a online guard training for those who are willing to be counted. It's always the desire of my hubby and I guess, he will be interested if given a chance.

Watermelon to the Max

Watermelon is the fruit of the season these days in Thailand. You can buy anywhere and cheaper. Last Sunday we joined a church outing after the service and we ate a lot of this fruit. The daughter of our friend who was only 2 years old loved to eat this. So she ate to the max... I could not imagine how she ate - she really ate and ate. I guess, she ate half of the fruit, huh! For a 2-year old, for me, that's amazing!!! But she did it. I discovered here in Thailand, if any fruit is in season, you can find a lot of it anywhere using their cars like Isuzu, or other expensive cars. Fruits are there at the back of the car and you can see it on the highway especially during night time. If you want to buy some fruits, you can find it anywhere along the street. They will just find their ways somewhere and people will just buy. I will try to take pictures and share to you next time.

Mellow Yellow Monday

MellowYellowMondayBadge
I guess most of us will agree that time flies. It's another Monday, a week just passed, so fast. And another post for Mellow Yellow Monday. I took this photo last summer in Bangkok when we applied for a renewal of our passport. We went as a family, so we were able to visit some places. This is a place for enjoyment and relaxation especially for the kids. But we enjoyed too because we can't leave our kids alone. I would like to say, for all your visits...

Rapidshare Source

Having a teenager is not a joke. Now I understand why my parents were strict when I was a teenager. However it's fun and can either make you laugh or cry. My teenager is showing a different attitude now compared to his younger years. Yet he can make good research in the internet world. I found out just recently, he knew how and where to search for things that I didn't know. If I will ask him how to do it as far as internet is concerned, he can easily help me. When I told him about Rapidshare Search he knew it too. He said, it is the fastest way of downloading. And it's true, I search for it and I've found out the site I was looking for. I love music and I wanted to download some of the songs I love. It is the most popular resource when you want to download soft music or even movies. Millions of files are being uploaded everyday in this new Rapidshare link. It has proven its popularity by effective work. And I guess, many teenagers knew about this and are using this link too. I'm glad I've found this site. I can download anytime and it's fast. Now, I can ask my teenager and make use of his time to help me.

I'm always glad to be part of this blogging world. I have learned a lot, gained friends and learned many good things too. Blessings to all.

Diesel Parts Pros

My hubby started driving when we were here in Thailand. Although he practiced driving in the Phil. last year but he was able to drive here. He finds it awkward at first because he practiced driving on the right, and the driver's seat is on the left while here in Thailand is the other way around. Yet gradually he was able to manage. Then we found out that the car is filled with diesel. We use diesel to let it run. That means we need diesel parts if some parts are broken or destroyed. And it's good that there is an online source for diesel parts. This is great. We can choose whatever we want for changing other parts. And one more thing, they have a wide range of diesel parts to different cars like Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Chevrolet and a lot more. If you want to replace your diesel parts, you can find everything that you need like diesel fuel pump, turbochargers, diesel injectors and a lot more at a lowest price here at Diesel Parts Pros. They offer a genuine and quality replacement parts for their valued customers. I better check this out now and tell my hubby.

The Weather My Kids Love

My kids love to be in a cold place. I guess, most of the kiddos would love it. There was a time that my 6-year old asked us to go and visit a snow world. He wanted to see and touch snow. He thought it is near and we could easily visit. Different countries have different weather. Like here in Thailand, the weather is so hot and humid when it rains. Sometimes it rains in a hot sunny day. Did you know that there is another place that is so cool? The weather in Arizona is currently about 80 degrees in AZ. Oh how I love this place and I guess, my kids would like to live in this place too. And besides, Arizona has a Pathway Landscape and had been serving their clients for more than 10 years. They maintain, create and make designs, this is cool and nice to live. I would love to live there. My kids will really enjoy.

My Kiddos' Favorite

These are the kinds of apples that my kiddos like. Every time we buy apples they would easily ask, "the green ones please." Few months back, only my teenager liked it but just recently my 6-year old ask the same. I have discovered that my 6-year old kid was trying to follow his "Kuya" his older brother. Whatever the kuya likes he will like it too. He is very keen in following whatever his kuya wants. This is the age that I think, kids are being known as "great imitators." They would follow what others are doing especially the ones they will look up to. Even for simple things, they will imitate. How much more if they see us doing bad? So, we need to be careful in whatever things we do, kids are looking and following....

Online Car Search

Since we came back to Thailand, we had been longing to have a car of our own. We can travel anywhere we want. We had been using a motorbike for more than two years and our kids were already growing and it's not safe to travel as a family in one motorbike, right? Speaking of cars, there is one that fits our need. This is a unique venture of car search. You can now search online to any cars you want whether new cars, car leasing and a lot more. They have something to offer for those who are looking for a car. I guess, I will try to look at it and choose the car we like. For those who are looking for cars you can try to search. You will really find the one for your choice.

Then Sings My Soul Saturdays

Then Sings My Soul is keep going every Saturday. A meme that has a greater part in my growth as a believer of Jesus Christ. I knew Him when I was still in Elementary years. Since then, I learned to sing for His glory and developed my skills in singing, playing the piano. I also learned to direct a choir when I grew older. I have learned to sing hymns with the help of my auntie who loves to sing. My family had always a family altar and we always sang hymns in Ilonggo (Bacolod) version. It's always fresh in my mind. My mother would usually sang alto and we had a nice blending of songs. Oh how I love those days. I also learned hymns during DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) - usually on Summer Vacation. One of the hymns that I love: Then Sings My Soul Saturdays is still up. You can join too, try to check it out with Signs, Miracles and Wonders.

Nutrition Facts about Fruits for Losing Weight

I like this news today in yahoo. While I was checking the mails I saw this news and I can't help but share this to all especially to those who wanted to loose weight, of course that includes me,lol!

Below are some of the fruits and vegetables that we can eat and will still maintain our slim body, huh! Hope you will also enjoy reading this. They burn fats.

_______________________________________________

Want to lose weight as you chow down? Your wish is granted! (I promise, this is no fairy tale.) Your supermarket is filled with foods that studies show have lipid-melting powers to help melt fat and keep you slim. Stock up on these fat-fighting super bites, and you'll be trimmer even as you indulge. Read on to discover the eight foods that deserve a permanent spot in your fridge—and in your diet!

Almonds These yummy nuts are high in alpha-linolenic acid, which can accelerate your metabolism of fats. In fact, dieters who ate 3 ounces of almonds daily slashed their weight and body-mass index by 18 percent, while those who skipped the nuts reduced both numbers less— just 11 percent—a study in the International Journal of Obesity revealed. Chomp almonds à la carte (limit yourself to 12 per serving to keep calories in check). I get a pack at Starbucks and nibble throughout my day. Or sprinkle them into a recipe such as Black Bean–Almond Pesto Chicken. Go nuts!

Berries I tell my daughter, "These are nature's candy!" Turns out they're also your body's best friends. Strawberries, raspberries and other vitamin C–spiked fruit can supercharge your workout, helping you burn up to 30 percent more fat, research from Arizona State University at Mesa has found. If they're not in season, buy the little gems frozen in a bulk-sized bag so you'll always have them on hand to whip up a Berry Bliss Smoothie or Strawberry-Sunflower Pops, regardless of whether berries are in season.

Cinnamon Adding 1/4 teaspoon to your plate may prevent an insulin spike—an uptick that tells your body to store fat. Sprinkle it on your morning cereal or coffee or on your yogurt in the A.M., or savor it in Apple-Cinnamon-Raisin Oatmeal.

Mustard It's heaven on a soft pretzel, but mustard may also be a weight loss wonder. Turmeric, the spice that gives mustard its color, may slow the growth of fat tissues, a study in the journal Endocrinology finds. Use it on sandwiches instead of mayo, or sprinkle turmeric on cauliflower pre-roasting to give it a kick. Try it on tuna salad—I promise it adds zest.

Oranges This citrus fruit, which contains fat-blasting compounds known as flavones, deserves to be your main squeeze. Women who ate the most flavones had a much lower increase in body fat over a 14-year period, a study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition notes. Eat oranges sliced or swig fresh OJ (including pulp!) to get the best benefit from the fruit.

Soybeans Reason to toss a half cup on your salad? Soybeans are rich in choline, a compound that blocks the absorption of fat and breaks down fatty deposits. Oh, and they're addictively delish! But if breast cancer runs in your family, experts suggest you should talk to your doc before adding soy to your diet.

Sweet potatoes The colorful spuds' high-fiber content means they keep your insulin steadier than their white sisters, which means less fat packed on your hips, research finds. Top a small baked tater with lowfat cottage cheese for a tempting side dish, or whip up Miso Soup With Sweet Potato Dumplings.

Swiss cheese Calcium-rich foods reduce fat-producing enzymes and increase fat breakdown, and Swiss has more calcium than many of its cheesy peers. Choose the reduced-fat variety, such as Sargento. Slip it into your sandwich, put it on top of high-fiber crackers or use it for a healthier grilled cheese. Yum!
