Yummy Sunday

Yummy Sunday is up again, though I'm late but better late than never, lol! This is one of my favorites as far as blogging is concerned. Food is always the best among the rest. Wherever we are food is always served in any country, in any occasion, in any celebrations or even in our day to day life. Life is not complete without food being served everyday. When we're in the Phil. few weeks ago, we ate in a restaurant when we reach Bacolod City. We were so hungry because we took the cheapest flight from KL, Malaysia at 1.30am and reached Manila around 5am. Then we just waited for our flight again to Bacolod at 8.50 am. We tried to look for a cheaper food in the airport but my hubby only bought a bottle of water for 50 Php. It was so expensive so we kept our tummy stayed in a relaxing condition and waited for our flight back to Bacolod City, our very own place. That's why when we reached there, we're so hungry and our tummy were crying already inside. So, we decided to pass by a known restaurant that we missed and ordered some food that we missed too. Hmmmm, yummy, we ordered quite a lot and ate to the max, lol! Here's some of the pictures Please visit Perfectly Blended for more yummy photos.

Physically Weak

The next day after we settled back to Thailand we were sick. I was chatting with a friend and she told us that we need to see the doctor for check up. I had asked my hubby to bring us to the doctor (with our 2 sons) before leaving us. He left to Malaysia with some friends and I was upset that something might happen. So he hurriedly brought us 2 hours before he left. During my conversation with the doctor, he said that we need to prepare. I had soar throat, nasal congestion and body pain. The doctor said, if there is difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath, don't wait go to the hospital immediately because that is already H1N1. The disease that is so dangerous at this time. All the possibilities according to the doctor is already with us, so we need to take care, drink a lot of water and take some rest. I had asked the doctor if they have many patients with H1N1. I was shocked when he said, all of the hospitals have H1N1 patients. Whew! I stayed at home for a couple of days now, I could not even write the past days to continue blogging because I felt dizzy. Just today I decided to write something, hope I can recover soon. Thanks for some friends who always visiting me here. It means a lot to me. God bless you all!

Our Trip Back to the Phil.

We just came back to Thailand from the Phil. for 2 weeks, and we were blessed by how God provided everything we need especially the provisions and protection back and forth. We went back to be with our bereaved family. Our niece passed away and we want to be a blessing to our family and friends too. Before the funeral of our niece there were several services given by different groups and many came to know the Lord and were challenged to be faithful to Him through the life of our niece. Though she had undergone a lot of pains caused by Leukemia (with chemo and everything) she still continued to serve the Lord young as she was(14yrs). She was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 7, had undergone chemotherapy, her sickness recurred when we went back home last year. Three days before we left back to Thailand she was miraculously healed, although during those times we were prepared because her tummy and legs were already swelling with jaundice eyes; but the Lord was so gracious to her and to all of us. She told us that someone came to her and massage her head during the night, she thought that it was one of us but my sister was insisting that maybe she was just hallucinating because she was just went out from the hospital . But the thing was, when we got the result of her laboratory tests, 2 days before we leave, back to Thailand, all of the tests was normal. We were all blessed seeing the miracle that happened. For 7 months she was okay. Try to check here if you want to know more about the miracle that happened. But we were shocked for what had happened lately. We had many questions why it happened ????? why the Lord took her. But the Lord has a purpose and plan for everyone. And through her death, many came to know the Lord. After the burial, our cousin send a message that my mother's brother died also. So we went and visited the family of my mother in another island. It is known as Guimaras Island. We traveled by boat in going to the place and we took the opposite way coming back because of the heavy rain. Our cousin showed us the way to Iloilo, and we took Weesam - the fastest ferry boat going back to Bacolod. Our trip was really a hectic one with a lot of things to do but was able to survive and we're now back to Thailand.

The Bonding

I had been silent for a couple of weeks and I missed blogging already. I'm not sure if some of you were able to read my last post. We had an urgent call to go back home. Our niece passed away and we are assured that she is now with the Lord. We were together as a family. My brother and sisters came and we were united again. We had a great bonding although we experienced sorrow and pain. We became closer as a family and we had great opportunity to share Jesus' love to those who didn't have relationship with HIM. Everyday, there was a time for listening and sharing the word and many received Jesus as their Lord and Savior especially the young ones who had the same level with our niece. It was a time of reaping and sowing. Those whose faith faltered were encouraged to be faithful and true to their faith. We are thankful to all our who prayed and supported us during those times. The Lord is good and faithful. We had time to share our experiences to the young ones and encouraged them to be faithful to the end.
